Avoid Christmas Weight Gain

For those of you who don’t know me by now, I am obsessed/addicted to working out and eating right and well, that’s all I ever talk about.  Even though I am in this profession, I still struggle at times and I have a REAL sweet tooth that I need to take control of.  What’s the point of this post you ask?  I will tell you.  The holiday’s is fast approaching and we all tend to over eat, over drink and stop fitting in our fitness time.  Moderation is key for sure around this time but how do we control this weight gain?  Eating healthy, exercising, and having the right accountability group is how.For those of you who don’t follow me on my Facebook page, I like hosting what’s called CHALLENGE GROUPS, and I host them monthly starting the first Monday of every month.  I take on small groups at a time so that I can keep them accountable and mentor them in making the right choices.  I make sure that my group is doing what is necessary to stay fit and healthy, and plus, I need the motivation as well sometimes believe it or not.  So in a way the group keeps me accountable as well.  There is a simple equation I like to follow:

Fitness + Nutrition + Support + Rewards = Success

This is what a challenge group is all about.  I am a big believer of Beachbody products and have been for almost 8 years. I personally find that when you are financially invested in a product, you are more incline to use the product.   As a nutritionist I know what to eat, but not necessarily know how to cook and I can not always depend on my husband to cook.  That is what is also great about these fitness programs, they come with a recipe book loaded with fantastic recipes, which to this day I still use.  What else is really cool about these challenge groups is that you can win cash prizes from Beachbody.  Check out this video! For those that can’t afford to purchase a fitness program or get to the gym, find someone around you that can keep you accountable and keep you on your toes with your fitness and nutrition goals, especially during the holidays.  You can always stop by and hang with me on Facebook and with my other friends where you can find accountability and motivation for sure.  This is what my passion is and I love doing, helping others reach their.
